I think that it definitely gives you confidence to go into a track knowing that you were the guy celebrating in Victory Lane last year. It makes you the guy to beat. We ran well at Texas in the fall with the same truck we are taking back this weekend. This Wyler Racing team has been getting better every week. Were learning how to make the truck better and the guys are performing better pit stops each race. I think we can go to Texas this weekend and contend for the win. I would love a repeat performance of last June. Career at Texas Motor Speedway: Sprague has twelve career starts at Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series including two wins and one pole. He has three Busch and Nextel Cup Series starts combined at the Texas track. You have to have a lot of horsepower under the hood, and that is a non-issue with our Toyota motor. We have the horsepower. You also have to handle well. We werent perfect at Texas last fall, but we werent bad either. Were going to go to Texas with our notes from what we ran in the fall, adjust on it, tweak on it and hopefully give Todd Bodine and the Germain Racing guys a run for their money. Todd and that team have it going on. Their pit stops are awesome. They do a great job of getting his truck set up. Week in and week out, they are the team to beat. Do I think we can beat them? Yes. This Wyler Racing Team is just going to get better and better. We are a very young team, but the guys are doing a great job. Were sitting sixth in points, and were not that far out of fourth. Were just going to have to continue to improve each and every week, and I think the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota will be a contender for this championship at the end of the season. Notes: Sprague will be making his 231st career start at Texas in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this week. Sprague has 25 career victories (2nd highest in the Series) and 28 career poles. 2006 Quick Facts Starts 8 Wins 0 Top-5 Finishes 4 Top-10 Finishes 5 Poles 0 DNFs 0 Average Start 12.6 Average Finish 11.6 Points Position 6th No. 60 Con-way Frieght Toyota Tundra NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Team Employee Name Track Duties Shop Duties Tony Furr Crew Chief Team Manager Jack Sprague Driver Damian Dickson Engineer Engineer Mike Abner Jackman Truck Chief Aaron Larson Front Tire Changer Fabricator Jeffrey Galati Front Tire Carrier Mechanic John Armstrong Rear Tire Changer James Henry Rear Tire Carrier Mechanic Tim Rice Gasman Mechanic Terry Lynch Catchcan Hauler Driver Jeff Wilson Tire Specialist Tire Specialist Con-Way Transportation Services Inc. is North America's premier commercial freight transportation company.
