| | Model | Access Cab 4x4 TRD | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | If I have to say, it would have to be the gas mileage this truck gets. Mine has averaged 15.5 to 16.5 MPG since day one (Hwy and city driving combined). On a good note, the truck doesn't perform as well on Plus or Premium octane. It runs best on regular gasoline. The OEM CD player skips sometimes on bumpy roads. I occasionally get aggravated with the seatbelts as they are slow to retract. The windows will rattle sometimes if they're slightly cracked open, but only in a certain position, so it's easily avoided. I hear a lot of complaints about Toyota's Customer Service, but since my truck has had no real problems yet, I've not experienced that and can't comment. | | | General comments? | Bought this truck in July 2000. Currently has 35K miles on it. No problems yet. I did have to put new tires on it as the BFGs didn't last too long. Everything works flawlessly. The interior is as quiet as a Lexus. My leather interior is top-notch. The push button 4WD works like a charm. I cannot describe a problem to anyone reading this because I've had none. The truck is everything I hoped it would be, and more. Best vehicle I've ever owned, so far. | | | Previous car | 1994 Chevrolet - customized and a great vehicle, but not tightly assembled.
1994 Toyota 4x4 - Small truck, but as dependable as you could possibly ask for. Never let me down, but I outgrew it.
