| | Model | SR5 Access Cab 4X4 | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | Quality is very very low, too many parts are breaking for a 2 year old truck. | | | General comments? | At first I was pleased with this truck, the handling, comfort, power with the V8 is all good. It is very comfortable on trips and gets decent gas mileage. But recently it has been plegued with problems and I am contacting Toyota about it. I have taken this truck in for repair 3 times in the last 2 months, all for different items. I've now replaced 2 oxygen sensors and one exhaust manifold, (which was very expensive). Also my emergency brake light is stuck on, and one of the rear window latches fell apart. The exhaust manifold had to be replaced because the FACTORY O2 sensor was cross threaded into the manifold and no one could get the damn thing out. Anyways, looking back this truck has been a total disaster and I regeret my decision to buy a Tundra, and would not recomend this truck to anyone. Oh yeah, and the seatbelts don't retract anymore either. | | | Previous car | Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado |
