| | Model | Toyota Tundra SR5 2WD | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | A little more expensive than the domestic counterparts but the resale value stays up far longer than the others | | | General comments? | Excellent vehicle. I've had none of the brake problems mentioned at various times. I've hauled a half yard of dirt and gravel, loads of lumber without any problem. Yes, it does feel like a car but only in the quietness of the ride. Other than that, it does everything a half ton pickup should do. The two previous reviewers obviously own domestic pickups and are just doing a negative review because they're having so many problems with their Dodges and Fords. If they want to carry or tow heavier loads then they should get a truck that will accomodate their needs. The standard Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge one half ton pickups will not haul their loads as well as the the Toyota. Check out Consumer Reports for an accurate description of capacities and motor strength. | | | Previous car | Ford 150, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet 1500, Toyota Hilux (great little truck) |
