| | Model | Toyota Tundra | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | Brakes. We took advantage of Toyota free brake replacement. Story I got from local dealer is that they used too weak of a brake system, tends to warp, ours started to, talked to other Tundra owner who's front end started jumping around. $1200 new heavier duty system, no charge to us. For those who use trucks for real heavy duty work, I suppose Tundra might be a wuse, but for our level of use its perfect. Back seat is a bit cramped. | | | General comments? | My wife & I love our Tundra. Quiet, comfortable, powerful enough for our needs, 15-17 mpg, we use it for her art shows, pulling a small trailer. Great sound system, lux leather interior, great blend between a truck and car. Smooth on the 4-wheel roads too. If I want my butt beat, will buy a Ford, Chevy or Dodge. | | | Previous car | none, other than cars, plus I have a '74 Toyota Landcruisuer FJ-40. |
